WEST POINT, N.Y. - Senior team captain Scott Manley and freshman Patrick Beverly were two of 16 golfers selected to the 2004-05 Division I All-New England teams. Manley garnered first team honors for the third straight year while Beverly earned a spot on the second team in his first collegiate season with the Black Knights.

A native of Dove Canyon, Calif., Manley has earned a plethora of honors in his four years at the Academy. A 2005 first team All-Patriot League selection last month, Manley was the top Army finisher in five of the Black Knights' 12 tournaments. He shot par or better five times including a career-low 68 in the second round of the Mulekicker Fall Classic at West Point. Manley also led Army to its ninth Patriot League championship after carding consecutive rounds of even-par to finish in a tie for fourth place.

Beverly also enjoyed a great deal of success in his first season at the Academy. One of Army's most consistent performers, he earned medalist honors in his Black Knight debut at the Blue Devil Fall Invitational. The native of Humble, Texas, finished in the top 20 in eight out of 12 tournaments and was named Patriot League "Golfer of the Month" back in March.

The Black Knights are currently preparing for the 2005 NCAA East Regional which is slated for May 19-21 at the Golf Club of Tennessee in Nashville,. Tenn.
