Pounding rain showers throughout the day took their toll on the 2006 Patriot League Golf Championship at the Naval Academy Golf Club, leaving the golfers stranded on the course in the middle of the second round. The players in the seven-team tournament have anywhere between four and 12 holes remaining in the second round of the 54-hole tournament. The second round is set to resume Sunday at 9:00 am and the final round is estimated to begin at 1:00 pm.

Bucknell holds a four-stroke lead over Army to pace the field through 18 holes. The Bison shot a 15-over par 299 with defending Patriot League Individual Champion Charlie Waddell once again atop the leader board with a 2-under par 69. Four of Bucknell's six players are currently among the top 10.

Army, who is 19-over par (303) as a team, also has four players in the top 10, including Jimmy Fisher and Joey Cave who are tied with Lehigh's Jason Moloney in third with a 4-over par 75.

Navy and Holy Cross are deadlocked in third with a 26-over par 310. For the Mids, junior Bryan Stoniecki and freshmen Eric Stinson and Ryan Wielgus are tied for eighth with a 6-over par 77.

The Crusaders have just one player in the top 10, Matt Czarnecki in second place, who trails tournament leader Waddell by four strokes.

Lafayette stands fifth with a 33-over par 317, Lehigh is sixth at 35-over par 319 and Colgate rounds out the field with a 37-over par 321.
