MIDDLETOWN, Del. (www.lafayette.edu) - The Lafayette golf team closed its spring season at the Scotty Duncan Memorial on Monday. The tournament was played at the par-71, 6,589-yard Frog Hollow Golf Club.

Temple won the event by four strokes over Liberty, while Drexel was another shot back to complete the top three. Lafayette finished in a tie for ninth in the field of 10 teams.

Pat Kelly carded the Leopards' low score at 161, which included a 78 on the second day of play.

Joe April of Drexel won the individual title with a one-over par 143.
