John Skelton a Burges High School grad is making an impact in Arizona with the Arizona Cardinals. The 6 foot 6, 244 pound quarterback was drafted in the 5th round of the 2010 NFL draft by the Arizona Cardinals after having a tremendous collegiate career at Fordham University.

Skelton was named starting quarterback at Fordham during his freshman year and ever since he remained the starting quarterback during his slate at Fordham. He was named 2nd Team All-Patriot League after throwing 22 touchdowns and leading the Fordham Rams to a Patriot Legue Championship and a trip to the FCS playoffs where Skelton would go on to set a Patriot League record in the playoffs. Scoring 5 touchdowns, 3 through the air and 2 on the ground.
