CENTER VALLEY, Pa. — The 2013 Patriot League football season saw many highlight-reel worthy plays, and the Patriot League Network has gathered the best of the best to form three separate top-10 lists.

From those 30 plays, the Patriot League Network chose five nominees for the Patriot League Top Play of the Year, and we’re going to give the fans the chance to select the winner. Included in the nominees for 2013 is the Twitter fan vote winner from 2012, Colgate QB Gavin McCarney. He'll look to make it two straight, but he's got some tough competition, including a game-winning hail mary by Fordham and Demetrius Dixon's incredible catch and run for Lafayette in a win at Lehigh.

In order to vote, all you have to do is copy and paste the bold hashtag/text below and paste it into a Tweet to @Patriot_League. We will count only one vote per Twitter handle. Voting will end at noon on Friday, so log on to Twitter and cast your vote for the Top Play of 2013.

Here are the nominees, in no particular order:

#BowerPower Selected by the Patriot League Network as the best defensive/special teams play of the year, J.Q. Bowers picked off a pass against Rhode Island in the season opener and broke more than seven tackles en route to a 61-yard touchdown.

#DixonsGameBreaker After Lehigh had rallied back to cut its rivalry matchup to one score, Lafayette's Drew Reed hit Demetrius Dixon on a short wide receiver screen and the junior did the rest, running 68 yards for a 43-28 lead in the fourth.

#HailAjala With time winding down, Fordham’s Michael Nebrich lofted a pass to the end zone and Sam Ajala reached up and corralled the game-winning touchdown in a 30-29 victory at Temple in Week 3 of the football season.

#McCarneysLateStrike Moments after the defense came up with a great goal-line stand, Colgate's Gavin McCarney moved the offense into position for the game-winning 31-yard touchdown pass to Brian Lalli at Holy Cross.

#AirBison Bucknell running back C.J. Williams had an impressive freshman season, punching the ball in for eight touchdowns, including this huge run against Lehigh, capped by his airborne assault of a defensive back.
