Center Valley, Pa. - For the second consecutive week, a Patriot League quarterback has earned national recognition. Holy Cross senior Dominic Randolph was selected as one of four National All-Stars by College Sporting News after claiming Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week honors earlier on Monday.

Fordham senior quarterback John Skelton was honored with the same award by the organization last week.

Randolph threw four touchdowns and ran for two more and set a career-high with 116 rushing yards to lead No. 22 Holy Cross past No. 17 Colgate, 42-28, on Saturday. He completed 20-of-31 passes for 288 yards and four touchdowns while carrying 14 times for 116 yards and the two scores. It was Randolph's ninth-career game with at least 400 yards of total offense. He became the first Holy Cross player to rush for over 100 yards this year. Randolph set an FCS record with a touchdown pass in his 37th consecutive game, breaking the mark he shared with the late Steve McNair (Alcorn State 1991-94). He now leads the nation in passing, total offense and points responsible for per game this season, and is up to seventh in FCS history in career passing (11,928), total offense (12,568) and touchdown passes (105).

Randolph has become familiar with recognition from the Patriot League and national organizations in his career. He received the Offensive Player of the Week award from the Patriot League for the third time this year and 15th overall, extending his Patriot League career record. Randolph was also named the national Offensive Player of the Week by The Sports Network for his performance against Georgetown in the season opener on Sept. 5. He has received four national Offensive Player of the Week awards and five honors from the ECAC during his career. Randolph is considered one of the top candidates for The Walter Payton Award, presented by The Sports Network to the Most Outstanding Player in the Football Championship Subdivision.

The Patriot League has now received five national honors from either College Sporting News or The Sports Network. In addition to Randolph's pair of awards and Skelton's College Sporting News honor, Fordham defensive back Isa Abdul El-Quddus was named The Sports Network Defensive Player of the Week for his performance against Cornell on Oct. 17 and Bucknell senior running back/return specialist A.J. Kizekai was a College Sporting News National All-Star after his outing against Robert Morris on Sept. 12. In addition, the Patriot League has received five regional awards from the ECAC, with Skelton winning the Offensive award from the organization in two of the past three weeks. Patriot League student-athletes have claimed four of the six ECAC Offensive Player of the Week awards this season, with Colgate's Greg Sullivan and Jordan McCord also being honored. The ECAC awards from the weekend's games will be announced on Tuesday.
