Offensive Player of the Week
Dominic Randolph, Holy Cross; So., QB, Amelia, Ohio
Randolph becomes the first Patriot League football student-athlete to be honored twice this season as the second-year signal caller earned his second-straight Patriot League Offensive Player of the week nod. Just one week after setting new career highs in passing touchdowns and yards, Randolph shattered them in an encore performance with four touchdown strikes and 329 yards on 30-of-39 passing to lead the Crusaders to its third-straight win.
Defensive Player of the Week
Chris Nielsen, Holy Cross; Sr., LB, Center Line, Mich.
Nielsen recorded a career-high three sacks and four tackles in Holy Cross' 35-30 home win over Brown. Three of Nielsen's stops were solo tackles and his three sacks were for losses of 14 yards. Nielsen's biggest hit on Brown quarterback Joe DiGiacomo came on the first series of the second half with the Crusaders up 21-10. With the ball on the Bears' 45 and third-and-3, Nielsen hit DiGiacomo for a nine-yard loss, ending the Bears' seven-play drive.
Special Teams Player of the Week
Jason Leo, Lehigh; So., P/K, Harleysville, Pa.
If the situation called for a leg, Leo was the Mountain Hawks' man in its 28-3 Patriot League win over Georgetown. The second-year kicker/punter averaged 57.2 yards on five kickoffs, 39.5 yards on six punts and was a perfect 4-for-4 on point after attempts.
Rookie of the Week
John Skelton, Fordham; Fr., QB, El Paso, Texas
Making just his second career start, Skelton racked up 207 yards of total offense, including 150 in the second half. He finished the game 11-for-21 for 160 yards. His 26-yard fourth-quarter touchdown pass to Richard Rayborn gave the Rams a then 10-7 lead. Skelton added a career-high 47 yards on the ground.

Recorded game-high 12 tackles and seven solo stops ... Two tackles for losses of 20 yards, including 12-yard sack.

Recorded game-high 15 tackles with nine solo stops, pass break up and quarterback hurry.
Thomas Harrison, Holy Cross; Jr., WR, Wilimington, Del.
Pulled down career-high two touchdowns (29 and 9 yards) ... Hauled in six passes for 87 yards.

Recovered fourth-quarter fumble and returned it eight yards to the Penn 4, setting up Kevin Mullen touchdown one play later ... Recorded five tackles, four solo and broke up pass.

Ran for a pair of touchdowns and added another in the air (26-yard score in overtime) ... Went 14-for-26 for 243 yards ... Added 17 yards on the ground.

Accumulated 121 all-purpose yards on 79 rushing and 42 receiving ... Rushed for one-yard score and caught 26-yard touchdown in overtime ... Finished game 93 rushing yards shy of 2,000 in career.

Rushed for career-high 122 yards and two fourth-quarter touchdowns ... Pounded out 81 yards in the second half, 49 in the final quarter ... Also pulled down four-yard pass.

Pushed into duty due to injuries and appearing in just his second collegiate game ... Threw Bison season-high 125 yards and first Bucknell touchdown pass of season ... Went 10-for-19 with no interceptions.
Patriot League Notebook
Logjam
Week six is in the books and Lehigh becomes the fourth undefeated team in Patriot League play, opening its 2006 slate with a win at Georgetown. The victory also left the Mountain Hawks a perfect 2-0 away from Goodman Stadium.
Four teams are tied at the top of the Patriot League standings, with Holy Cross in front at 2-0. The Crusaders are also leading the Patriot League with a 4-2 overall record, earning its third-straight win last Saturday.
Midway Point
Just 23 games remain in the 2006 campaign, and the juiciest portion of the schedule still awaits as the final 16 Patriot League contests will come over the next six weeks, including 15 in the final five ... Week seven will mark the final out-of-league contests for Colgate, Fordham, Holy Cross, Lafayette and Lehigh ... Bucknell concluded its out-of-Patriot League schedule last weekend.
Honor Roll
College football's most played rivalry Lafayette vs. Lehigh will be featured on ESPNU Honor Roll: College Football's Top 10 this weekend as part of its College Football's Top 10 Greatest Rivalries ... The 60-minute episode will air on ESPN2 on Oct. 13 at 7:30 p.m. and again on Oct. 15 on ESPNU at 8:30 p.m. ... Lafayette and Lehigh will face one another for the 142nd time on Nov. 18 at Fisher Stadium in Easton, Pa. ... Full-time Patriot League members Army-Navy (I-A in football) will also be featured on the rivalry broadcast.

Three Patriot League running backs continue to inch their way towards the 2,000-rushing yard plateau with Fordham senior James Prydatko just 73 yards shy of the mark ... Colgate sophomore Jordan Scott is right on Prydatko's heels, 93 yards short ... Lafayette senior Jonathan Hurt is also closing, 198 yards away from the milestone.
It Has To Be The Shoes
Fordham senior kicker Micah Clukey moved into seventh-place all-time in Patriot League history in kicking points with 202 ... Clukey kicked in five on his 33rd career field goal (second among active Patriot League student-athletes) and four PATs against Duquesne last Saturday ... Clukey is just three points shy of 20th-place all-time in Patriot League history in overall scoring.
Number Two
Colgate senior linebacker Mike Gallihugh currently sits second in I-AA in tackles, averaging 12.4 per game ... Gallihugh is just 0.4 off the I-AA leader, Idaho State's Pago Togafau.

Mitchell is 24th in I-AA in kickoff returns, averaging 24.9 yards per return ... Alex Buzbee's 12-yard sack on Sedale Threatt gave the Hoya senior 3.5 on the season, second in the Patriot League ...
