CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - A pair of players from both Lehigh and Fordham were honored with Patriot League football weekly awards on Monday for their performances in victories on Saturday.
For the Mountain Hawks, senior quarterback Mike Colvin was named Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week after completing 29-of-38 passes for 296 yards and four touchdowns and also running for 38 yards and a score in a 35-14 win over Columbia on Saturday. Freshman linebacker Noah Robb had a pair of tackles and a quarterback hurry in the win to earn the Patriot League Rookie of the Week award.
The Rams pulled out a 38-31 win over Georgetown on Saturday, thanks in large part to the performances of Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week Michael Martin and Special Teams Player of the Week Patrick Murray. Martin had a career-high 18 tackles, 0.5 tackles for loss and a fumble recovery in the win, while Murray made all three of his field-goal attempts and averaged 47.8 yards on eight punts.
Honorable mention status went to Fordham senior quarterback Ryan Higgins, Lehigh senior tight end Jamel Haggins, Georgetown senior linebacker Robert McCabe and Holy Cross junior linebacker Scotty O'Donoghue and junior punter/placekicker John Macomber.

Michael Martin, LB, Fordham Sr., 5-11, 215 (Arlington, Texas/Juan Seguin)
Mike Colvin, QB, Lehigh Sr., 6-3, 230 (Morristown, N.J./Morristown)
Colvin had his second straight outstanding performance by completing 29-of-38 passes for 296 yards and four touchdowns and also running for a score in Lehigh's 35-14 win over Columbia on Saturday. He established career highs in completions and touchdown passes while running for a score for the third straight game and fifth in six contests this year. He was 9-for-9 for 84 yards and two touchdowns in the first quarter as Lehigh grabbed a 14-0 lead. Colvin leads the Patriot League and is in the top 15 nationally in both total offense (313.0) and passing yardage (263.0) per game for the season. Colvin is named Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week for the first time.
Martin recorded a career-high 18 tackles with 0.5 tackles for loss and a fumble recovery in Fordham's 38-31 win over Georgetown on Saturday. He had a stop as part of a goal line stand as the Rams prevented the Hoyas from tying the score late in the fourth quarter. Martin is 14th in the country with 10.83 tackles per game for the year, and stands 13th among all active FCS players with 272 career tackles. He is named Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week for the first time.
Special Teams Player of the Week
Patrick Murray, P/K, Fordham Sr., 5-7, 182 (Mahwah, N.J./Don Bosco Prep)
Murray converted all three field goal attempts and averaged 47.8 yards on eight punts in Fordham's 38-31 win over Georgetown on Saturday. He hit field goals from 30, 44 and 43 yards in the first half to stake Fordham to a 16-10 lead at intermission, and had a long punt of 59 yards with one inside the 20 in the game. Murray also recorded touchbacks on five of his seven kickoffs. He leads the FCS in field goals made this season (12-of-14), and stands third in the nation with a 46.22 punting average. Murray is named Patriot League Special Teams Player of the Week for the third time this season, and was also named College Football Performance Awards National Placekicker of the Week on Monday.
Rookie of the Week
Noah Robb, LB, Lehigh Fr., 6-3, 195 (Orefield, Pa./Allentown Central Catholic)
Robb had two tackles and a quarterback hurry in Lehigh's 35-14 win over Columbia on Saturday. He saw his first varsity action with time at outside linebacker and as a part of three special teams units. Robb earns his first Patriot League Rookie of the Week award.
Ryan Higgins, QB, Fordham Sr., 6-3, 220 (Merrick, N.Y./Chaminade)
Higgins completed 29-of-38 passes for 305 yards and two touchdowns without an interception in Fordham's 38-31 win over Georgetown on Saturday.
Jamel Haggins, TE, Lehigh Sr., 6-3, 260 (Philadelphia, Pa./Ben Franklin)
Haggins caught five passes for 84 yards and two touchdowns in Lehigh's 35-14 win over Columbia, earning National Tight End of the Week status from College Football Performance Awards.
Robert McCabe, LB, Georgetown Sr., 6-2, 234 (Newtown Square, Pa./Malvern Prep)
McCabe recorded 15 total tackles and three tackles for loss in a 38-31 loss at Fordham on Saturday. He is the overall FCS leader in both categories.
Scotty O'Donoghue, LB, Holy Cross Jr., 5-11, 214 (Tampa, Fla./Sickles)
O'Donoghue had six tackles and a blocked punt to set up a field goal in a 13-6 win for the Crusaders over Bucknell on Saturday.
John Macomber, P/K, Holy Cross Jr., 5-11, 199 (Vienna, Va./Georgetown Prep)
Macomber made both of his field-goal attempts and averaged 37.4 yards on eight punts, with five downed inside the 20, in Holy Cross' 13-6 win over Bucknell on Saturday.
