There were plenty of stories that unfolded on Saturday afternoon in the season opener at Monmouth that made Lehigh football coach Andy Coen feel good.
But Coen singled out Marcus Dormevil's 47-yard touchdown run that closed out Lehigh's 49-24 win as the "feel good story of the day."
That's because Dormevil is a testament to what hard work, dedication and determination -- all stuff that sports are supposed to be all about -- can do for a young man.
Lehigh fans should be on the lookout for Dormevil on Saturday when the Mountain Hawks host New Hampshire in a battle of nationally ranked teams. Lehigh is ranked No. 14 in two national polls, while UNH is as high as No. 13 in one and No. 16 in another.
Dormevil came to Lehigh for the education. He wasn't recruited by the football staff.
