2012 Patriot League Football Television Schedule

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - Patriot League football will once again have a strong presence on national and regional television with 23 broadcasts scheduled to date for League members in the 2012 season.

The slate includes four national television appearances, with three of those on CBS Sports Network. A pair of Patriot League games will be shown through the League's contract with the network, as Lafayette visits Bucknell on Sept. 22 and Colgate goes to Lehigh on Nov. 10. Bucknell at Harvard will be shown on CBS Sports Network on Oct. 13, while the Georgetown at Princeton contest on Sept. 21 will be broadcast on ESPNU.

The broadcast slate includes at least one televised game every weekend, beginning on Saturday when Lehigh hosts Monmouth on Service Electric 2 Sports. Four games will be televised on the weekend of Sept. 21-22, while all three Patriot League contests on Oct. 20 will feature television coverage.

Lafayette will have nine of its games televised through the Lafayette Sports Network, with the contests shown live on RCN-4, RCN-8 and WBPH-60 and through tape delay on the Mid-Atlantic Sports Network (MASN). Select broadcasts will also be picked up on ESPN3 and ESPN GamePlan.

Lehigh will have five of its home games televised by Service Electric 2 Sports, and will also have its road contest at Liberty picked up by WFMZ-TV (Allentown) and Fox College Sports Atlantic.

The 148th meeting between Lafayette and Lehigh, scheduled for Nov. 17 in Easton, will once again have extensive television coverage. The game will be shown through the Lafayette Sports Network, picked up live on MASN2 and also televised on WFMZ and Fox College Sports Atlantic.

Holy Cross and Colgate will also have home games picked up on television. The Crusaders' matchups with Dartmouth (Sept. 22) and Fordham (Oct. 27) will be broadcast on Charter TV 3 in Central Massachusetts, while Colgate's game with Georgetown (Oct. 20) will be shown on Time Warner Sports.

 

 

Fordham will have its game with Cincinnati picked up by ESPN3 on Oct. 13. Every Patriot League team will appear multiple times in televised contests.
