EASTON, Pa. -
Twenty of the newest Lafayette football season ticket holders will take advantage of a special promotion tomorrow night, in appreciation for their patronage to Leopard football.
The group of season ticket holders each received two tickets to the August 31 Lehigh Valley IronPigs (Philadelphia Phillies Triple-A squad) game, appropriately themed "Football Night."
The complimentary seats are located in the PPL Patio Picnic Patio section of Coca-Cola Park and feature a two-hour, all-you-can-eat buffet as well as an opportunity to meet Lafayette head coach Frank Tavani and Lafayette Sports Network's Gary Laubach.
Congratulations to the following new season ticket holders: Robert Young, Stacey Dorner, Greg Wechter, Dan Frascarelli, Julie Smith, and Dino Capuano.
Also on the evening's itinerary is Tavani spending time on the IronPigs Radio Network in the top of the fifth inning. He'll join Matt Provence to talk over the 2011 season and preview North Dakota State.
Lafayette, the Patriot League leader in attendance for three straight seasons, has sold more 125 new season tickets for the 2011 campaign. Season tickets remain on sale until Sept. 11, with single game tickets available beginning Sept. 12. Tickets to the fan-favorite Coke Zone will also become available on Sept. 12.
Lafayette's 2011 season begins Saturday in Fargo, North Dakota as the Leopards travel to 11th-ranked North Dakota State at 7 p.m. EST. The game can be seen live on GoLeopards.com.
