As soon as he heard the news, Casey Gough burst into the Holy Cross weight room shouting "I did it," and was swarmed by teammates offering congratulations.

After months of preparing a case with lawyers and endless paperwork, the NCAA granted Gough a fifth year of eligibility in February.

"It was probably the best day of my life," Gough said.
