Finterbush Returning to Receiver

Aug. 27, 2008

The last year-and-a-half has been somewhat of a whirlwind for Bucknell football player Levi Finsterbush.

The former Mifflinburg three-sport standout underwent successful shoulder surgery, joined his new Bucknell teammates as a linebacker, then, just this spring, switched to wide receiver.

Now, Finsterbush is happy and looking forward to getting playing time at what he considers a more natural position for him.

"I'm a lot more confident," said Finsterbush, who is entering his sophomore campaign with the Bison. "I definitely enjoy playing receiver, especially not having that much (high school) experience playing defense."

The switch has Bison head coach Tim Landis excited about Finsterbush's future.
