Reaction to 25th Anniversary Team selection: It's an amazing honor to be selected to the 25th Anniversary Team. The success I had as an individual was directly related to my teammates and dedicated coaches who enabled us to achieve our goals year after year. It was an amazing experience playing football at such a great University and competing in such a great league. GO BISON!!

Reaction to 25th Anniversary Team selection: This is truly an honor in being named a member of the Patriot League Football 25th Anniversary Team. I was fortunate to be part of a special Holy Cross football team that included many standouts that contributed to our team's success. I was only one cog in our defensive machine, and I owe this honor to the high skills and abilities of our entire defensive line, our linebackers and our defensive backs. In addition, to this day, I have the highest respect for our coaching staff, many of whom have gone on to the NFL due to their knowledge and leadership on how to bring a team together to act as one.
And, most importantly, I am proud to be an alumnus of the Patriot League...a League that promotes both athletic and academic achievements in a manner consistent with preparing all of us for life after college. I could not have asked for a better combination of college life and athletic achievement at the College of the Holy Cross and am humbled by this honor. I congratulate our entire Holy Cross Football Team program for their past, current and future successes. PURPLE PRIDE!!! Go Crusaders!
Nick Martucci, DL, Lehigh (1995-98)
15th Anniversary Team

1998: First-Team All-Patriot League, Patriot League Defensive Player of the Year; AFCA, First-Team AP and Third-Team Sports Network All-American
Post-Patriot League: Martucci is a sales manager at Sentinelle Medical.
Reaction to 25th Anniversary Team selection: I am truly humbled to be selected to the Patriot League Football 25th Anniversary Team. I owe a debt of gratitude to my coaches and teammates without whom such an honor would be impossible. My parents and family also deserve recognition as their support throughout my football career was crucial.
I am especially proud because Patriot League schools embrace the true meaning of the word "student-athlete." The coaches at Lehigh made it clear that academics always took highest priority. Our athletic director treated mistakes we made as "learning opportunities" and helped us realize lessons that will serve us later in life as businessmen, citizens and parents. Recent scandals at athletic powerhouses have shown that the integrity and forward thinking present at Lehigh are unfortunately the exception and not the rule. Opportunity for personal growth and achievement are being squandered by both players and coaches alike for short term glory and (often) fleeting financial benefit. I feel privileged to have played in a league and for a school who had my best interests at heart.
Our football class ('99) won two Patriot League championships, finished the regular season of our senior year undefeated, won the first playoff game by a Patriot League team and finished ranked 7th in the nation. All of this on field success was achieved by a class with the highest SAT scores in the country our freshman year (including the Ivy Leagues), placed three athletes on the Academic Honor Roll during the undefeated season, had one academic All-American and the Patriot League scholar-athlete of the year that fall. This proves that gridiron success and academic achievement can go hand in hand.
My football classmates include financial planners, vice presidents, engineers, systems analysts, CPAs, entrepreneurs, architects, teachers, college coaches and a doctor. They will always be considered lifelong friends and I will be forever grateful to Lehigh for introducing me to these future leaders and fine young men.
Andrew Hollingsworth, DL, Towson (1997-00)
1999: First-Team All-Patriot League
2000: First-Team All-Patriot League, Patriot League Player and Defensive Player of the Year; AFCA, Walter Camp, First-Team AP and Sports Network All-American (consensus First-Team All-American)
Post-Patriot League: Hollingsworth signed with the BC Lions of the Canadian Football League in 2002.
Reaction to 25th Anniversary Team selection: I am very proud to have been selected to the Patriot League Football 25th Anniversary Team. There have been many great players in the League over the years, and to be considered among the best is truly a great honor.
The time I spent playing football at Towson, and in the Patriot League, was a great time in my life. I have many great memories of those Saturdays in the fall, which undoubtedly would be even greater had we ever been able to beat Colgate or Lehigh. I would like to thank the Patriot League for including me on this Anniversary team, and again, I am honored to have been selected.

Reaction to 25th Anniversary Team selection:
Being named to the 25th Anniversary Team for the Patriot League is an enormous honor for me. I was fortunate to be able to play for some great coaches and with some great teammates during my career at Lafayette College. My success as a player can certainly be attributed to that. The Patriot League is an extremely competitive league with programs that all have prideful tradition and history which makes this honor that much more meaningful to me. My times competing in the Patriot League at Lafayette College are some of the best of my life. I always played hard and to the best of my ability and for that to be recognized next to some of the great players in the history of The Patriot League is as prestigious an honor as I have received.

Post-Patriot League: Cohen plays for the Lehigh Valley Steelhawks, a professional indoor football team.
Reaction to 25th Anniversary Team selection: I am extremely honored to be selected to the Patriot League 25th Anniversary Team. The Patriot League has history of excellence in both competition and academics, so to be associated with the League means greatness on and off the field in my mind. My time at Lehigh will always hold a special place in my heart from my teammates and coaches to teachers and other staff and faculty members ...it was the special people that I formed bonds with that I will always remember. What I learned at Lehigh continues to guide me today. Once again I'm very proud to have achieved this honor!
