McCutcheon Selected to FCS ADA Executive Committee

EASTON, Pa. - Lafayette College Director of Athletics Bruce McCutcheon has been selected to serve on the Division I Football Championship Subdivision Athletics Directors Association (FCS ADA) Executive Committee, beginning in the 2011-12 academic year.

McCutcheon, who has been Lafayette's director of athletics since 2001, is one of six athletic directors newly elected to a four-year term on the 16-member executive committee. He has previously served on three national committees: the NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) Football Committee, the NCAA Division I Football Issues Committee and the NCAA Academics/Eligibility/Compliance Cabinet.

Regionally, McCutcheon has chaired the ECAC Division I Robbins Scholar-Athlete Committee and served on the Patriot League's Committee on Athletic Administration. He holds memberships in the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics and the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame.

Now in its 19th year, the Football Championship Subdivision Athletics Directors Association's mission is to enhance Football Championship Subdivision football. The FCS ADA is administered by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA), which is in its 47th year.
