The Lafayette at Bucknell football game, which will open the Leopards' 2012 Patriot League campaign on Sept. 22, will be televised nationally on CBS Sports Network.

The noon kick-off in Lewisburg, Pa. will see the Leopards looking to re-establish the dominance the program has held over the Bison in recent seasons. Bucknell's 39-13 aberrational win over Lafayette on a snow-covered Fisher Field snapped Lafayette's nine-game winning streak in the series. Lafayette finished the season 4-7 while the Bison enjoyed a five-game turnaround and finished 6-5.

CBS Sports Network is available across the country through local cable providers (RCN 421 in the Lehigh Valley, Service Electric 176 in the Lehigh Valley) on Verizon FiOS 94, AT&T U-Verse 643, and on DirecTV 613 and Dish Network Channel 158.

For the 16th year, the Lafayette Sports Network will provide coverage of Lafayette football with the broadcast schedule and distribution outlets to be announced in August. Lafayette will open the season on Sept. 8 at William & Mary. That game time has recently been set at 7 p.m.
