CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - Patriot League men's basketball teams played their last games before a holiday break over the weekend, with four victories highlighted by Boston University's 83-77 triumph at Maryland.

The Terriers got 25 points from senior D.J. Irving in the win, which was the seventh victory in the past three years for a Patriot League team over an opponent from a BCS conference.

Lehigh stayed hot with its fifth straight victory, and moved to 5-0 at home with a 69-58 triumph over Quinnipiac. Holy Cross posted a 74-55 win at NJIT, while Colgate cruised to a 79-51 win at home against Division III Ursinus.

Army had a solid outing in defeat, as Kyle Wilson scored a career-high 29 points but Rutgers hit a three-pointer in the final seconds for a 75-72 win. American, Bucknell and Navy also fell on the road, while Loyola Maryland fell at home against Saint Joseph's.

All teams are now of until after Christmas, with each squad playing one game from Dec. 27-30 before Patriot League action begins on Jan. 2.
