CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - Despite a double-double from Dave Dudzinski, Holy Cross fell 83-73 to Canisius in its return to the court on Monday at the Hart Center.
The Crusaders were playing for the first time in more than a week after breaking for final exams. Canisius took the lead for good with an 11-0 run in the first half, and held off Holy Cross down the stretch. The Golden GriffinsD hit a three-pointer with 1:36 left for a six-point lead, and made 8-of-10 free throws to seal the victory.
Dudzinski finished with 16 points and 10 rebounds, while Malcolm Miller added 15 and Justin Burrell scored 11. Holy Cross shot 40.4% from the field and made just 7-of-24 shots from long range. For the full recap and box score from the game, go here
