CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - Every Patriot League team has won a game this week as American continued the run of success in home openers with a 62-57 triumph over Mount St. Mary's on Thursday at Bender Arena.

Daniel Munoz made a pair of free throws to give American a 59-57 lead with 13 seconds left, and after a turnover he sealed the win with a pair at the line with four seconds to play.

Stephen Lumpkins led the way with a 21-point, 11-rebound double-double, making 7-of-8 shots from the field and 7-of-9 at the line. Mike Bersch came off the bench to score 15 points on 5-of-7 shooting from beyond the arc. The Eagles made 50 percent from the field (18-of-36) and three-point line (6-of-12) and held a 34-19 rebounding edge to overcome 23 turnovers.

Three teams are in action on Friday, including Army playing its home opener against Binghamton. Bucknell opens its weekend at the 2K Sports Classic in Niagara Falls, N.Y. by playing host Niagara, and Lafayette visits No. 3 Kentucky.
