Center Valley, Pa. - The 2009-10 Patriot League Men's Basketball season tips off on Nov. 13, and followers can now get all of the preseason information they need at the League website. The 2009-10 Men's Basketball Media Guide has been posted, along with video interviews and photos from Men's Basketball Media Day and preview articles from various outlets covering the League.
The information can be found at the right-hand sidebar of the men's basketball page, with links to the media guide, media day photos and preseason coverage. The content has also been posted in separate releases, which can be found and described below.
The 2009-10 Patriot League Men's Basketball Media Guide is now available in PDF format online. The guide includes 64 pages of news and notes on the upcoming season, including sections previewing the year, providing information on each team, reviewing the 2008-09 season and giving historical information on Patriot League men's basketball. The printed guide is available to non-media members for the price of $10.
The 2009-10 Patriot League Men's Basketball Preseason Media Coverage link includes videos with coaches and student-athletes filmed at the League's Media Day in Baltimore on Oct. 29, as well as a photo gallery from the event. The link also includes articles previewing the Patriot League and its individual teams leading up to the 2009-10 season, which will be updated until the campaign begins.
Seven of the eight Patriot League men's basketball teams begin the season on Nov. 13, with League play set to commence on Jan. 9. The Patriot League Tournament will be held at home sites and begin on March 3, with the Championship game set for March 12 at 4:45 p.m. on ESPN2. Holy Cross was picked to win the League in a preseason poll of head coaches and sports information directors, while Lehigh senior guard Marquis Hall was selected as the Patriot League Preseason Player of the Year.
