Center Valley, Pa. - Lehigh's Marquis Hall, the 2009 Patriot League Men's Basketball Scholar-Athlete of the Year, is one of 23 men's basketball student-athletes named to this year's Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

Hall recorded a 3.23 grade point average in the spring term as a Finance major, and was named to the ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District II Men's Basketball First Team. Hall has earned a spot on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll in each of his three seasons at Lehigh, and is a two-time captain of the Mountain Hawks.

Army sophomore Nathan Hedgecock achieved a 4.10 GPA as an Engineering Management major.

American led all Patriot League schools with six student-athletes making the Academic Honor Roll. Lehigh added four of its own student-athletes to the list while Bucknell, Holy Cross, and Lafayette were tied with three apiece.

To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and be awarded a varsity letter in one of the Patriot League's winter or spring championship sports. The criteria for awarding varsity letters are different at each institution.
