CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - Patriot League schools combined to place 35 student-athletes on the Men's Basketball Academic Honor Roll announced on Tuesday, with Lehigh and Bucknell leading the way with six selections apiece.
Patriot League champion American and Colgate each notched five selections, with Navy totaling four. Four members of the Academic All-Patriot League Team selected in March also made the Academic Honor Roll, including American sophomore Jesse Reed who was the Patriot League Men's Basketball Scholar-Athlete of the Year. Another Academic All-Patriot League selection, Loyola University Maryland sophomore Franz Rassman, had the highest grade-point average in the spring semester with a mark of 3.937.
To be eligible for the Spring Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's winter or spring championship sports.
