Navy-Army Men's Basketball Contest to be Re-Broadcast on ESPNU Sunday at 8 p.m.
June 9, 2009 Center Valley, Pa. - ESPNU will re-broadcast the Jan. 25 men's basketball contest between Patriot League rivals Navy and Army on Sunday at 8 p.m. Army won the matchup, 76-71, at West Point in a game originally shown through the Patriot League's package with the network. It is part of Army programming on Flag Day to help celebrate the Army's 234th year. Juniors Cleveland Richard and Josh Miller scored 17 and 14 points, respectively, to lead Army to the win. Ten of the twelve Army players that saw action scored at least one point. Junior Jon Sizemore scored a career-best eight points on 4 of 6 shooting in 23 minutes of work. Adam Teague led Navy with 16 points, while Clif Colbert added 14 and Jordan Sugars scored 13. In addition to the basketball game, ESPNU will air the Brigade Boxing Open at 4 a.m. and again at 6 p.m. Other events include Army vs. Navy rugby at 6 a.m., the Black Knights' volleyball victory over the Mids at 2 p.m., and Army's hockey victory over Holy Cross at 3:30 p.m.
