Mark Veazey often walks around campus with Navy teammate Jeremy Wilson. At 6-foot-11 and 6-10, respectively, they have no problems standing out.

It's nothing new for Veazey, a Meadowcreek grad who has always towered above his classmates.

"I'm definitely the tallest in the school," said Veazey, a sophomore at the Annapolis, Md., school. "There aren't many kids here my height, that's for sure. (Wilson) is about my height. We walk around the halls together and people ask us how tall we are all the time."

Veazey doesn't mind that kind of attention, but it's more rewarding to stand out like he's done on the basketball court this season.

After a solid true freshman season (3.7 points per game, 4.1 rebounds), he has made a much bigger impact in his second season at Navy.
