LEWISBURG, Pa. -- The monthy Bucknell Women's Sports Luncheon and Backcourt Club Men's Basketball Luncheon are on tap for this week. The Women's Sports Luncheon will be held on Wednesday from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Center Room inside the Elaine Langone Center, while the Backcourt Club Luncheon will be held on Thursday at 11:45 a.m. at the Lewisburg Hotel.

The Women's Sports Luncheon is held the first Wednesday of each month throughout the school year. Each head coach of the in-season women's teams at Bucknell talks to the crowd about his or her team and awards a player of a month. Select student-athletes will also speak about their experiences as Division I athletes at Bucknell. The cost for the buffet lunch is $7.75.

On Thursday, head basketball coach Dave Paulsen will update Bison fans on the state of the team, including a review of the team's current three-game winning streak. The $8 admission includes lunch and the opportunity to interact with coach Paulsen and select student-athletes. Raffle prizes will also be awarded.
