Center Valley, Pa. - Army's Tyler Anderegg, the 2009 Patriot League Baseball Scholar-Athlete of the Year, is one of 54 baseball student-athletes named to this year's Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
Anderegg earned a 3.69 GPA in the spring semester in his Life Science major at Army, and the Grand Junction, Colorado native will attend the Colorado School of Medicine following graduation. He was named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll in all four of his seasons, and was also tabbed an ESPN the Magazine/CoSIDA Second-Team Academic All-American this year.
Lafayette senior Ryan Hanna earned a perfect 4.0 GPA in the spring semester as an English and Spanish major.
Bucknell paced all Patriot League schools with 17 student-athletes making the Academic Honor Roll. Lafayette tallied 11 student-athletes for Honor Roll selection, while Lehigh placed 10 on the list.
To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and be awarded a varsity letter in one of the Patriot League's winter or spring championship sports. The criteria for awarding varsity letters are different at each institution.
