Plenty went into getting Mark Angelo to this point of his baseball career.

There was the tutelage of his father Ed when Mark played for him during his Little League days. There were the years after Little League, when Ed stepped back to let Mark experience playing for different coaches. There was his freshman year at Bucknell University when Angelo was cut from the team. There was the disappointment of not being drafted following a senior season at Bucknell that saw him earn All-Patriot League second-team honors and help lead the Bison to the Patriot League title.

With a degree from Bucknell in hand and his baseball career seemingly over, Angelo went job hunting.
