WEST POINT, N.Y. - The honors continue to mount for members of the Army baseball team. Fresh off winning a pair of games in the Austin, Texas NCAA Regional, Joey Henshaw, Clint Moore and Zach Price have been named on national all-star teams.
Henshaw was a second-team pick as a utility player on the ECAC All-Star Teams while Moore and Price earned accolades from Ping Baseball. Moore was an honorable mention choice at shortstop while Price was the third-team second baseman on the All-Freshman Teams.
Henshaw, a sophomore from Lula, Ga. (North Hall H.S.), earned utility player honors after helping the Black Knights to Patriot League regular season and tournament championships as a designated hitter and pitcher. The left-handed hitting Henshaw was third on the squad with a .383 batting average and set new single-season career with 13 home runs and 75 runs batted in.
One of seven players to earn all-Patriot League honors, Henshaw slugged .646, posted an on-base percentage of .438, racked up a team-best 80 hits and ripped 12 doubles. On the mound, he threw in seven games with a 4.79 earned run average and a 1-1 mark.

He led the team in batting average (.385), triples (five), total bases (134) and slugging percentage (.724) while stealing 10 bases. Moore scored 58 runs, blasted 73 hits and shared the team lead with 18 doubles. His 11 home runs trailed only Henshaw.
A slick-fielding shortstop, Moore posted a fielding percentage of .971 and is one of 12 semifinalists for the Brooks Wallace Award which recognizes the nation's top shortstop. The Patriot League Rookie of the Year as a freshman, Moore was the first-team selection at shortstop this season.
Price, a freshman from Cantonment, Fla. (J.M. Tate H.S.), picked up his second national award in the past two weeks. A Louisville Slugger Freshmen All-American as chosen by Collegiate Baseball magazine, Price was on the third team of the Ping Baseball All-Freshman Teams.
Price became only the second freshman in Army history to lead the team in runs scored (59) and stolen bases (14). He also established new school records for games played (57) and games started (53) and was the only member of the Black Knights' record-setting team to appear in every game this spring. The left-handed swinging second-sacker fell just one walk shy of Army's single-season record as well (39) and set a new school freshman standard when he authored a 16-game hitting streak late in the year.
Price established new freshman Army records in games played, walks, on-base percentage (.480), runs scored and stolen bases He batted .357 with runners in scoring position and hit safely in 46 of 57 games. He also batted .505 when leading off an inning and hit .425 in Patriot League play.
