For the second straight outing, Army senior pitcher Logan Lee was dancing with perfection. The Army lefty carried a perfect game into the seventh inning for the second straight week, and although he walked a batter to start the seventh, Lee retired the next three to pitch the 11th no-hitter in Patriot League history. Army clinches top seed in baseball, Holy Cross second

The Army Black Knights finished off their fourth straight four-game sweep on Saturday, clinching the No. 1 seed in the 2012 Patriot League Baseball Tournament. The Black Knights, who swept Bucknell, have now won 16 straight League games in 2012 -- 17 overall dating back to 2011 -- setting a single-season record. They will have a chance to finish off the perfect League season next weekend when they travel to Holy Cross, which clinched the No. 2 seed in the tournament by winning three of four at Lehigh this weekend.Read More [+]

When he wakes up this morning, Justin Kashner will dress for a three-mile run through an undisclosed location in North Carolina. He chose the distance he and his National Guard battalion will cover to commemorate those who lost their lives in the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks that ended at three sites -- the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and a field in Shanksville, Pa. The run also will raise money for Team Red, White and Blue, an organization started by one of his former Army baseball teammates that helps wounded soldiers who are trying to integrate into private life.
