Respect On & Off The Field
About 200 athletes from the city of Worcester cram into the bleachers at what Burncoat High fans call, alternatively, "The Pit" and "The Green Graveyard"--rather foreboding nicknames for foes entering their championship banner-lined gym. MORE [+]

Daley Fulfilling his Dreams
On a cool April night in Reno, Nevada, Matt Daley stepped out of the manager's office in the visiting clubhouse at Aces Ballpark and hit one of the many speed dials on his cell phone. Matt's dad, John, was on the other line from a hotel in Chicago. Daley dispensed with the pleasantries and got right to the point. His words were met with a strange response: Dead air. MORE [+]

Henshaw Stands Out at West Point
During his senior year at North Hall in 2007, Henshaw was visited by Army baseball coach Joe Sottalano, who was on site to see whether or not he wanted to offer the 6-foot-7 southpaw a spot on his roster. It didn't take long for him to reach a decision. Henshaw thrived in his sophomore year at Army, batting .383 and setting new school records with 75 RBIs and 13 home runs. MORE [+]

A Long Journey for Angelo
Former Bucknell standout Mark Angelo thought he had a chance to get drafted last year, but 50 rounds worth of picks went by and his name was not called. He knew there was a chance he could get the call this year, especially after performing well during a workout with the Washington Nationals shortly before the draft, but instead of the Nationals it was the Seattle Mariners that selected Angelo, in the 44th round with overall pick No. 1,313. Army helps Moore be all that he can be
The NCAA baseball tournament resumes today with 16 teams left in the Super Regional round. Clint Moore's team isn't one of them. Army fell short in the regionals, but certainly not for a lack of effort. Nobody -- absolutely nobody -- worked harder this season than the Black Knights. Need proof? Here's a typical non-game day for Moore, a West Point sophomore from Greensboro. MORE [+]
