USTFCCCA Release

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. — Five Patriot League runners were among 450 student-athletes recognized by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Monday, earning All-Region awards in cross country following the weekend’s NCAA Regional Championships.

Navy senior Jess Palacio, who earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Championships after finishing 12th at the Mid-Atlantic Regional Saturday, was named the women’s All-Region team.

Colgate junior Chris Johnson, who also earned an at-large bid, joined Lehigh senior Evans Kosgei, Navy senior Cody Rome and Navy senior James Pearson on the men’s All-Region team.

Johnson finished 13th in the Northeast Regional, while Kosgei, Pearson and Rome all finished in the top-20 at the Mid-Atlantic Regional. For complete results from the NCAA Regionals, click here.

The NCAA Championships that will be held Monday, Nov. 21, on the campus of Indiana State University in Terre Haute, Ind.
