ANNAPOLIS, Md. - The Navy football, women's cross country and men's cross country and football teams will all be in action on Saturday and fans will have the ability to follow each of these events live.
The football team (0-1) will take on Louisiana Tech (0-1) in its home opener at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium at 3:30 p.m. in front of a national television audience on CBS College Sports. For fans that cannot make it to the game or in front of a television, they can also watch online through Navy's All-Access package, listen to the game on the Navy Radio Network and Sirius Satellite Radio, follow live stats via GameTracker and receive updates through the official Navy Athletics Twitter page or by simply refreshing this page.
The women's cross country team will play host to the Salty Dog Open at 9:45 a.m. on the USNA Cross Country Course, followed by the men's cross country team hosting the Navy Invitational at 11 a.m. Fans that can't make it to the event can follow by visiting the official Navy Athletics Twitter page or by simply refreshing this page.

Navy and Louisiana Tech will meet on the gridiron for the first time this afternoon.
Members of the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial All-Stadium offensive line will be honored at halftime. Nine of the 10 players that have been named to the team will be in attendance.
Navy is 25-8 (.758) in games played at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium over the last seven years, including a 4-1 mark a year ago.
Navy owns an 84-37-7 record all-time in home openers, including a 31-19-0 record in games played at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium.

Navy is hosting the Salty Dog Open/Invitational for the eighth-straight year. Prior to the Salty Dog Invitational, the Midshipmen played host to the Navy Invitational six times.
Navy has won the Salty Dog Open/Invitational three times (2002, '04 and '05) and finished second on three other occasions (2003, '06, '08).
Last year, the Midshipmen finished second out of the 15-team field. Richmond won the team title with a score of 42 points, just below Navy's 55 points and better than third-place Maryland's 75 points.
There are a total of eight teams and 137 runners competing in this year's Salty Dog Open. In addition to the Midshipmen, the following squads have entered for Saturday's competition: American, Georgetown, George Washington, Johns Hopkins, Loyola, Mount St. Mary's and UMBC.

This will be the 13th time in program history, and the 11th-straight year, that Navy will host an invitational scoring meet on its home course.
During the last-10 Navy Invitationals, Navy has come away with the team title five times and finished second on four other occasions.
Last year, the Midshipmen finished first out of the 14-team field in Annapolis. The Midshipmen owned five of the top-20 times on the day to score 64 points and land ahead of second-place Richmond's 80 points and third-place Maryland's 85 points.
There are a total of nine teams and 88 runners competing in this year's Navy Invitational. In addition to the Midshipmen, the following squads have entered for Saturday's competition: American, Elizabethtown, George Washington, Johns Hopkins, Loyola, Morgan State, Mount St. Mary's and UMBC.
