USTFCCCA Regional Rankings | Patriot League cross country composite schedule
CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - The Patriot League placed five men's teams and four women's squads in the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) preseason regional rankings for NCAA Division I on Monday.
American had the top ranking on the men's side by coming in at No. 4 in the Mid-Atlantic Region, with Navy (No. 7), Lehigh (No. 9) and Bucknell (No. 13) also included on that list. Boston University earned the No. 9 ranking in the Northeast Region.
Two-time defending Patriot League champion Navy held the highest ranking among women's teams by placing No. 6 in the Mid-Atlantic Region. Bucknell (No. 9) and Loyola University Maryland (No. 14) followed Navy in that poll, while BU was at No. 15 in the Northeast Region.
USTFCCCA Regional Cross Country Rankings are determined subjectively by a single member coach in each respective region. The regional representative is tasked with weighing returning team strength with current-season results in determining predicted team finishes at the NCAA Regional Championships.
