Patriot League Announces Men's Cross Country Academic Honor Roll

2010 Patriot League Men's Cross Country Academic Honor Roll
Center Valley, Pa.--Lehigh's Evans Kosgei, the 2009 Patriot League Men's Cross Country Scholar-Athlete of the Year, is one of 87 men's cross country student-athletes named to this year's Patriot League Academic Honor Roll. Kosgei, a junior computer science and engineering major, earned a 3.93 grade-point average for the fall term. Kosgei overcame an injury to finish second at the Patriot League Championships in the fall, earning First-Team All-Patriot League honors. Kosgei was one of 17 Mountain Hawks named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll. American's Colin Eustis led all Patriot League men's cross country student-athletes with a perfect 4.0 grade-point average in the fall. Eustis is a junior business administration major. He was one of a League-best 18 American student-athletes named to the list. Following American and Lehigh was Colgate, which had 12 student-athletes honored. The Raiders were followed by Bucknell (11), Lafayette (9), Navy (8), Army (7) and Holy Cross (5). To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the fall semester in one of the Patriot League's seven fall championship sports.
