Center Valley, Pa. — Four Patriot League men’s teams and three women’s teams were named 2011 Division I All-Academic Track & Field Teams by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

Army, Bucknell, Colgate and Lafayette were among 90 institutions whose men’s programs earned All-Academic status posting a GPA of 3.00 or better. Colgate led the men with a 3.35 GPA, while Lafayette was second with 3.20. Bucknell posted a 3.17 GPA and Army had a 3.03.

Bucknell, Lafayette and Lehigh were named All-Academic squads on the women’s side, with both the Bison and the Leopards posting a League-best 3.40 GPA. Lehigh had a 3.22. The three schools were among 164 institutions to earn the All-Academic honor.
