CENTER VALLEY, Pa. -- Bucknell senior Caroline Tolli has been named the 2012 Patriot League Outdoor Track and Field Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year and she is one of 12 student-athletes selected to the Academic All-Patriot League Team, announced Friday.

The Academic All-Patriot League Team was added for all sports beginning in the 2010-11 season to honor additional student-athletes who excel both on and off the field. The Women's Outdoor Track and Field Academic All-Patriot League Team is comprised of 12 student-athletes.

Tolli, who wins her second scholar-athlete honor after being named the 2012 Patriot League Indoor Track and Field Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year, is one of five Bison named to the Academic All-League Team. She is joined by senior Sarah Bella, sophomore Hana Casalnova, junior Sasha Hornock and sophomore Emily Waksmunski.

Lehigh placed a trio of student-athletes on the team with senior Katherine Pierce and juniors Brittany Pietrosh and Lauren Pietrosh being selected. Colgate senior Elise DeRoo, Holy Cross senior Katelyn Hartnett, Lafayette senior Erika Stasakova and Navy junior Brigid Byrne round out the Academic All-League Team.
