EASTON, Pa. - Senior Seamas McGuire (Weston, Mass./Weston) picked up his first career Patriot League Field Athlete of the Week award, and the team's third, on Tuesday afternoon.

The Geology and Anthropology and Sociology double major placed first in the javelin at the Greyhound Invitational at Moravian College over the weekend. The senior threw 211'1" at the meet, posting his third consecutive meet win and fifth straight score above the IC4A standard. McGuire is currently ranked 26th in the NCAA Division I East Region in the javelin.

Lafayette closes out its regular season when the Leopards travel to Bethlehem on Saturday to compete in the Lehigh Invitational, a day-long event.
