Members of the track and field team competed in the IC4A and ECAC Championships held at Princeton University this past weekend.
Junior sprinter Jerome Rudolph qualified for the finals in the 100m dash with a time of 10.72 on Saturday afternoon. In the finals, the junior posted a time of 10.79 for a fifth-place finish.
On the women's side, sophomore Gwen Steckel threw for 142'0" in the women's discus for a 14th-place finish while freshman thrower Alexandra Hunsberger had a throw of 122'06" placing her 19th in the javelin. Jumper Joelle Neilson finished 25th in the women's triple jump with a jump of 36'10.5".
The men's 4x100m relay team of David Robinson, Nick DeRosa, Nick Hepp and Rudolph finished ninth clocking in at 41.43 in the preliminary round. They missed the finals by one place, as the top eight teams advance.
In the women's 10000m run, Lauren Kelly placed 16th with a time of 37:20.18 while in the men's steeplechase, Ryan Stasiowski finished 23rd clocking in at 9:27.42.
