CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - A total of 11 Patriot League student-athletes were recognized on the 2014 Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-Academic Teams announced earlier this month.

In order to earn ITA Scholar-Athlete status a player must be a varsity letter winner with a grade point average of at least 3.50 (on a 4.00 scale) for the current academic year and have been enrolled at their present school for at least two semesters.

Bucknell led way with five players on the men's squad. Seniors Scott Bernstein, Aidan Lynch and Kyle Rosen were named along with freshman Bryon Adams and Jordan Lieb. Additionally, the Bison men's team was one of 80 Division I programs cited for a cumulative grade-point average of above 3.20 for 2013-14.

Boston University placed four student-athletes on the ITA All-Academic Teams. Leonie Athanasiadis, Madison Craft and Johanna Hyoty represent the Terriers' women's tennis program and Mario Sandoval was named from the BU men's squad.

Navy landed the final two Patriot League players on the ITA teams as Mikaela Carlson was named from the Mids women's team and David Tossavainen from the men's squad.

Each of the 11 student-athletes was also named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll released in June.
