2012 Patriot League Women's Tennis Academic Honor Roll Get Acrobat Reader

Center Valley, Pa. - Thirty-eight women's tennis student-athletes have been named to this year's Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, it was announced on Wednesday.

The group includes 2012 Women's Tennis Scholar-Athlete of the Year Emily Marr of Holy Cross, as the senior sociology and political science major earned a 3.58 grade-point average during the spring semester. Lehigh sophomore industrial engineering major Jill Sloand and Navy sophomore honors systems engineering major Caitlin Olsen each secured a 4.0 GPA during the semester. Five student-athletes received both honor roll recognition and Academic All-Patriot League distinction for the year.

Bucknell, Colgate, Holy Cross, and Lafayette tied with six student-athletes each named to the Academic Honor Roll, followed by Lehigh and Navy with five apiece and Army rounding out the list with four.

To be eligible for the spring Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's winter or spring fall championship sports.
