Center Valley, Pa. - The Patriot League tennis champions found out their first-round NCAA opponents on Tuesday, with the Navy men's squad set to visit the University of Florida and the Army women's team drawing the University of California-Berkeley.
The Navy-Florida match will be played on May 10 at 10 a.m. in Gainesville. The Gators drew the No. 10 seed in the field. Army visits a California team that earned the No. 8 seed in the women's side in a match on May 9 at 11 a.m. in Berkeley. Both NCAA tournaments are 64-team fields and feature a single-elimination format.
Navy won the Patriot League Men's Tennis title with a 4-0 triumph over Army in the championship match on Sunday. The Army women won their crown by defeating Bucknell, 4-3, in the title meeting on April 20.
