Daytona Beach, Fla. - The Colgate women's tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision to the Cowgirls of Wyoming on Wednesday morning in Daytona Beach, Florida. The Raiders fall to 7-6 overall, and are 1-1 on their spring break trip.

In doubles play, the Cowgirls earned the point by winning all three matches. The number one team of Corina Lazar and Amy Senko earned an 8-3 win over Jamie Maldow and Alex Seaton. Patricia Chien and Karolina Rowinski ousted Marissa Alikpala and Lilien Vo, 8-2, at the number two spot, while the team of Andrea House and Gwen Moser closed things out with an 8-4 win against Ali Grabler and Lindsay Grossman.

Wyoming also took over in singles play as they swept all six matches led by Patricia Chien over Marissa Alikpala (5-1 retired). Freshman Corina Lazar won her seventh singles match in a row with a 6-1, 6-1 win against Jamie Maldow, while sophomore Karolina Rowinski battled back with a 6-4, 6-3 win over Alex Seaton. At the number four spot, Andrea House won easily (6-0, 6-1) against Lindsay Grossman and Amy Senko defeated Lilien Vo in straight sets (6-1, 6-0). Wyoming rounded out singles play with a Michelle Brown victory over Ali Grabler, 6-1, 6-2.

Colgate battles Bethune Cookman on Thursday at 1 p.m. in Daytona Beach, Florida.
