EASTON, Pa. - The Lafayette men's tennis team traveled to Fordham on Saturday and returns with a 7-0 win over the Rams. This is the third straight victory for the Leopards and the second consecutive shutout win.

Junior Lee Kojanis defeated Austin Shoup, 7-6, 7-5 at No. 1. Senior Brett Kraft won his match against Pat Tool, 6-3, 6-2. It took sophomore Eric Wiley three sets to win over Ram's opponent Brandon Abbatiello.

Sophomore James Murphy and freshman Justin Haar soundly defeated their opponents at fourth and fifth singles, respectively. In the sixth singles, freshman Kyle MacLelland recorded his second singles victory of the fall season.

Lafayette won each of the three doubles competitions with Kojanis and Kraft combining their efforts to win 8-4. Murphy and Haar defeated Ken Fukumoto and Nick Kelly, 8-6. Rookie James Sparacio and MacLelland paired up to win 9-8.

The fall tennis season continues at home when the Leopards host La Salle and St. Francis (N.Y.) on Oct. 14. Lafayette starts the day against the Explorers at noon before facing the Terriers at 3:30 p.m.
