West Point, N.Y. - The women's tennis team traveled to West Point, N.Y. to compete in this weekends Patriot League Tournament hosted by Army. Holy Cross competed against Lehigh in the first round of the tournament where they were defeated 7-0 finishing there season 6-7 overall (1-3 Patriot League).

In #3 doubles Paige Brown (Huntington, N.Y.) and Ivette Konopka (Shelton, Conn.) teamed up to defeat Arthorfer and Murasko-Blank of Lehigh 8-3 in the Crusaders only win of the day. Lehigh took #1 and #2 doubles for the point.

In # 4 singles Hallie Lange (Miami, Fla.) had a close match against Furman of Lehigh but was edged out 6-7 (5), 6-3, 10-7. Turning out another great performance in #5 singles was Kathryn Wilkie (Oak Brook, Ill.), but she came up short in her fight against Vityuk of Lehigh losing 6-3, 2-6, 6-1.

This concluded the Holy Cross women's tennis season for this semester.
