EASTON, PA - After two back-to-back losses, the Lafayette tennis team defeated La Salle 6-1 on Saturday afternoon, improving its record to 4-4
The Leopards claimed five of the six singles matches with Eric Wiley starting the winning with a 6-3, 6-0 over George Gennoui. At No. 3 singles, Steven Benezra defeated Fernando Tovia 6-1, 6-0. Scott Gelbman lost a hard fought match to Trevor Donovan 7-5, 7-5.
The three doubles teams all took down their opponents with James Murphy and Andrew Morris leading the way with a 8-1 victory over Gennoui/Rob Knaster. Lafayette will host Delaware on March 24 at 3 p.m.
