Male Swimmer of the Week
Adam Meyer, Navy So., Bethesda, Md.

Meyer earns his second swimmer of the week award this season after a strong showing at Brown this past weekend. Meyer won the 200 IM event in a time of 1:52.84, the 200 Fly event in a time of 1:51.73 and the 200 Breast event in a time of 2:07.55. His 200 Fly time was a career best and ranks eighth in school history.

Female Swimmer of the Week
Tara Chapmon, Navy So., Virginia Beach, Va.

Chapmon takes home her third swimmer of the week award this season after a record-setting performance at the Terrapin Invitational last weekend. Chapmon set the Navy school record in the 1650 Freestyle event in a time of 16:49.81. The time eclipsed the previous record by just over five seconds, and also was an NCAA `B' Cut qualifying time.

Male Diver of the Week
Clark Cohen, Lehigh Sr., Bradford, Pa.

Cohen becomes the first Mountain Hawk to win a weekly award this season after winning both diving events in the dual meet with Lafayette on Friday. Cohen posted a season-high score of 292.27 in the one-meter event and a season-high score of 292.87 in the three-meter event.

Female Diver of the Week
Rebecca Bersani, Bucknell So., Fairport, N.Y.

Bersani becomes only the second person to receive female diver of the week honors this season. She swept the diving events at the Bucknell Trials/Finals Invitational, and was the lone Bison on the women's side to win an individual event. Her score of 254.90 in the one-meter event set a school record, and her score of 248.95 in the three-meter is good enough for third on the career list.

Honorable Mention

Luke Trafton, Bucknell
So., Bath, Maine
Trafton won two individual events for the Bison at the Bucknell Invitational. He finished first in the 1650 Free and the 500 Free events.

Lindsay Adao, Army

Softening the Schedule
There are only a handful of events left for Patriot League swimming and diving teams in the 2007 calendar year. Teams will still send swimmers and divers to invitational events, but the only dual meet left before 2008 is Nov. 29 when Army travels to Navy.

Quotable
"I give our guys a lot of credit. Brown finished in first and second place in the opening 400 medley relay event, which dug a hole for us right out of the starting blocks. But the guys came back and consistently were scoring three people in events throughout the day."
Navy Men's Head Coach Bill Roberts following a sweep of Brown and Dartmouth

"Despite the scores, I thought we had a lot of consistent performances today. We are progressing well and are just about where we want to be at this time of year."
Army Head Coach Mickey Wender after being swept by Columbia
