CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – The first showdown between League teams took place Saturday as Lehigh headed north to take on Colgate in what was the Raiders’ season-opener. The two teams managed a split, with Lehigh capturing the win on the men’s side. The focus shifts to next weekend, when Lafayette hosts a quad meet with American, Bucknell and Navy coming to Easton, Pa.

ZACH INGOLD, NAVY Jr., Hornell, N.Y.
Ingold recorded a pair of top-three finishes as Navy fell to Virginia Friday. The junior from Hornell, N.Y., clocked a 45.62 for second in the 100 free, and took third in the 200 free in 1:40.49. He also helped the Mids take third in the 200 medley relay (1:33.20) and second in the 400 freestyle relay (3:07.37) against the five-time defending ACC champion Cavaliers.

ELLEN BRADFORD, NAVY Fr., Knoxville, Tenn.
Bradford posted a pair of runner-up showings in the 100 and 200 breast events, clocking a 1:06.45 and a 2:21.97, respectively, in Navy’s dual meet against Virginia Friday. She also picked up a fifth-place finish in the 200 IM, hitting the wall in 2:10.75. Bradford’s time in the 200 breast was the League’s closest to an NCAA B-cut last week.

CHRIS NGUYEN ARMY Sr., Cheshire, Conn.
Nguyen captures his second straight Male Diver of the Week nod after sweeping the two boards during Army's 167.5-132.5 victory over visiting Connecticut on Friday. Nguyen's top point total came on the three-meter board, where he scored 314.55 points. He tallied 310.20 points to win the one-meter competition by nearly 60 points.

MELISSA PARKER, AMERICAN So., Livermore, Calif.
Parker swept the one- and three-meter boards as American posted a 159-84 victory against D.C.-rival Howard over the weekend. She scored 232.30 points from the one-meter board, and edged higher to 237.85 points in the three-meter competition.
Andrews won the 100 and 200 fly events in Army’s win over Connecticut.
LINDSEY SAGASTA, COLGATE Fr., Tonawanda, N.Y.
Sagasta shined in her first collegiate meet, sweeping the 100 and 200 free events as Colgate split a tri-meet, winning against Lehigh but falling to Yale. She hit the wall in 52.40 in the 100 and 1:52.83 in the 200.
CADY ZAWATSON, LEHIGH Fr., Lido Beach, N.Y.
Zawatson provided Lehigh with its two individual event wins of the meet versus Colgate, taking first in the 500 and 1,000 freestyles.
