LEWISBURG, Pa. - Twenty-one members of the Bucknell women's swimming and diving team were named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, the league office announced on Thursday. The total tied the Bison with Lafayette for highest number of student-athletes on the Women's Swimming and Diving Academic Honor Roll.

To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and be awarded a varsity letter in one of the Patriot League's six winter or 10 spring championship sports.

Highlighting Bucknell's list of honorees were rising-seniors Carlyn Donley (Pittsburgh, Pa./Oakland Catholic) and Rebecca Scheffter (Mt. Airy, Md./Linganore) who both earned 4.0 grade-point averages in the spring semester. The duo, both English majors, was among 10 student-athletes on the honor roll who achieved perfect GPAs.This past May, Scheffter was named to the ESPN the Magazine All-District II At-Large second team, as well.

Elsewhere around the league, behind Bucknell and Lafayette was Holy Cross with 16 honorees while Army had 11, Colgate nine, American eight and Lehigh and Navy had six apiece.
