Danny Flemming graduates as a history major who has been named to the Dean's and Commandant's List three times apiece and to the Superintendent's List in the spring of 2005. Danny was named First-Team All-Patriot League in 2005 and '06 and was the 2006 500 freestyle champion. In the summer of 2005 he was a member of Navy's 400 free relay that scored at the USA Swimming Summer Championship. He has been selected to become a Navy pilot and will report to Pensacola upon graduation for flight school. Danny is from Atlanta, Ga., and swam for Swim Atlanta. Danny also considered attending Washington and Lee and is the son of Diane and David Flemming.

Adam Hine is a systems engineering major from Wilmington, N.C., and the son of Rick and Linda Hine. Adam has served as the head manager for the team the past two years after swimming with the Navy distance squad during his first two years at Navy. Adam has service selected the Marine Corps and will report to Quantico for The Basic School upon graduating. Adam chose the Academy and the Marine Corps both because it has been his sole focus for as long as he can remember. Adam also considered attending Duke, MIT, and N.C. State.

John Kennedy hails from Bon Air, Va., and is the son of John and Betty Kennedy. He is an American politics and law major who will graduate Navy with academic honors. He received a Marshall Scholarship and will head to England's Oxford University next year to continue his studies. His favorite and proudest Navy men's swimming moments have been achieving four N-Stars in Army-Navy competition. In 2005 John was named Second-Team All-Patriot League and finished his career with a breakthrough 200 breast swim at the EISL meet in 2007. John has been selected for naval special operations and will join the explosive ordnance disposal community upon completion of his years in Oxford. John swam his prep years for Poseidon Swimming and also considered attending Virginia and William and Mary.

Kurt Lobaugh is a history major from Sacramento, Calif., and the son of Mark and Colleen Lobaugh. Academically at Navy, he was named to the Commandant's List in three semesters. In the pool, Kurt has been a member of Navy sprint program for the past three years and in 2005 he won both the 200 back and the 200 IM at the Bison Invite. Kurt has been selected for naval special warfare and will report to Coronado, Calif., upon graduation to begin his training to become a Navy SEAL.

Kevin Mukri is an economics major from Silver Springs, Md., and the son of Kevin and Gerri Mukri. He will graduate as the fastest backstroke swimmer in school history. He owns the 100 and 200 backstroke records at Navy and swam the stroke on the top 200 and 400 medley relay teams in school history. He garnered First-Team All-Patriot League honors in 2004 and '05. Kevin competed at both the 2005 and '06 USA Swimming Summer Nationals in both backstroke events, placing third in the 200 backstroke in 2006. Additionally, he placed second in the event in at the 2007 EISL Championship. At this year's spring national meet Kevin scored top-eight finishes in both backstroke events and recorded his first Olympic Trials qualifying standard. Kevin has recently been selected to represent Team USA at the 2007 World Military Games in India this October and will continue train at the Academy for the Games. Afterwards, he will report to Pensacola to begin training as a Naval flight officer. His proudest Navy men's swimming moments have been beating Army in four-straight years. Kevin swam for the Rockville Montgomery Swim Club and also considered attending Notre Dame and Air Force.

Andrew Plumb is one of Navy's fiercest relay competitors who helped Navy win the 800 free relay at the 2004 Patriot League championship and the 200 free relay at the '07 event. He is from Altadena, Calif., and the son of James Plumb and Stephanie Miller. He is an economics major with a Spanish minor and was named to the Commandant's List four times during his academic career. Andrew has been a two-sport athlete for Navy during each of his four years and made his second NCAA National Championship appearance in water polo this past fall. Andrew has been selected for naval special warfare and will train to become a Navy SEAL upon graduation. Andrew chose Navy to serve his country and the opportunity to be a two sport division I athlete.

Greg Schmucker is a math and American politics major from Chicago, Ill., and the son of Ken and Jackie Schmucker. Greg was named to the Superintendent's List twice, the Dean's List in three terms and the Commandant's List in five semesters. Greg is one of Navy's most improved swimmers in the middle distance freestyle events and led the team by his example in and out of the pool. His breakout swim in the 200 freestyle during his freshman year ignited the team to one of its best season finishes. Upon graduation he will become a member of the submarine community. Greg also considered attending Northwestern.

Blake Wanier is a math major from Sacremento, Calif., and the son of Herb and Suzie. Blake has served as the manager for the diving squad for the last two seasons and had an instrumental role in running two NCAA Zone A Diving meets. Blake was selected to the nuclear power program for surface warfare officers.

Kevin Teague finished a tremendous diving career this year at Navy. He hails from Lexington, Ky., and is the son of Roger and Barbara Teague. Kevin majored in ocean engineering and was named to the Commandant's List in six semesters and to the Superintendent's List once. He posted a 112-12 dual meet record during his career, including a 57-9 record against EISL competition. He was named as the Patriot League Diver of the Year in each of four years, becoming the first male diver in league history to achieve this. At the EISL Championship meets, Kevin won the three-meter board twice and the one-meter board once and was selected as the EISL Diver of the Year in '05. Teague also qualified for and competed at the NCAA Championship in 2004 and '06. He was selected for naval aviation and will report to Pensacola to be trained as a navy pilot. One of the greatest Navy's divers in school history, Teague also considered attending Stanford, Purdue and Northwestern.

Andy Bockus served as the Navy men's swimming team captain during the 2006-07 academic year. He is from Oklahoma City and the son of Henry and Teresa Bockus. Andy is an international relations major who has been named to the Superintendent's List in three semesters. Andy's proudest Navy swimming accomplishment is his Ironman status and record as he completed 718 out of 718 offered in-season practices during his four years. Andy was named Second-Team All-Patriot League in 2006 while placing third in the 400 IM and ninth in the 500 free. In 2007, Andy was named First-Team All-Patriot League after placing sixth in the 500, rounding out a 1-2-3 Navy sweep in the 400 IM and finishing in sixth place in the 1650 free. He was selected to join the special warfare community and will report to Coronado for SEAL training upon graduation. To his parents Andy would like to say, "Thanks. Dad you were the first and best coach I ever had and thank you mom for all your support and driving me to practice." To his teammates Andy leaves, "I wouldn't trade the last four years for anything. Thanks to all the guys and coaches, swimming for you has been great." Andy swam his prep years with the Kerr McGee Swim Club and chose Navy over Virginia, Minnesota, and Iowa. Andy will be honored during Commissioning Week as the 2007 Robert E. Cowell Award recipient, given to a member of the graduating class who has demonstrated outstanding swimming ability, leadership and good sportsmanship.
