Getting the chance to meet the best athletes in the sport you compete in is a dream of many. Well for Bucknell's Luke Trafton that dream will come true when he spends the summer in Europe swimming along side the likes of Michael Phelps, Larsen Jansen, Klete Keller and Eric Vendt.

"I was stunned to find out that I get to go to Europe this summer, but knowing that I will share the pool with Michael Phelps, the fastest swimmer in the world, and having the chance to talk to him, just blows my mind," said Trafton.

Trafton, the 2007 Patriot League Rookie of the Meet, was given this opportunity by Bucknell Assistant Head Coach Alex Braunfeld, who organizes the swimming events in Europe and gets to pick one swimmer to accompany him.

"By going overseas for these events, Luke will gain experience and confidence in himself and get a taste of swimming on a national level," said Braunfeld.
