Navy's Meyer Breaks Own League Record at NCAA Championships
March 26, 2009 College Station, Texas - Navy junior Adam Meyer toppled his own Patriot League record in the 200 IM with a time of 1:44.49 on Thursday during the event's preliminaries at the 2009 NCAA Men's Swimming and Diving Championships. Meyer set the previous record of 1:45.16 on Dec. 4, 2008, at the annual Army-Navy Star Meet. Meyer finished 21st in the field of 53. The junior will not be competing in the 200 IM finals sessions Thursday night.
